Datura Angel
Is there a way to grow Datura indoors?
I know that I can grow Datura (Angel’s Trumpet) Outdoors but my climate will not support them all year. Can I grow them indoors?
I live in the Midlands, England and have four Datura which are now seven years old and seven foot high with a spread of about the same. I do grow them outside although every winter I have to move them into a greenhouse. There is heat over night on the coldest nights when frost is forecast. Each year the leaves die back and drop off and some of the stems get frosted, I do reduce watering to once every month or so. However every year they start to shoot and put out plenty of growth.
I therefore should imagine that if they have enough light then they should grow well indoors but don’t put them near a radiator or fire. Good luck.
