USA: Adidas Predator Boots Kristine Lilly in favor of the Olympics
Adidas has announced the launch of 100 pairs of limited edition adidas Kristine Lilly Predator boots that will benefit Special Olympics.
The shoe is designed by Lilly herself and she started competing at 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China next week. 100% of the proceeds from the sale starting benefit Special Olympics, helping people who intellectual disabilities develop self-confidence, social skills and a sense of personal accomplishment through sports and training.
"The game of football gave me a lot, so I wanted to give back," said U.S. Women's National Team captain Kristine Lilly. "I collaborated with adidas to create a limited edition Predator boot, with all the proceeds to benefit from Olympics special athletes. "
An Olympic gold medalist in 1996 and 2004, Lilly has been dubbed "the world iron woman. "It is the first and only player, male or female, to play in 300 international matches and has won over 324 caps, 121 goals and 95 assists.
"Lilly is one of the greatest women ever to play football," said Antonio Zea, adidas America Soccer Business Director. " With over 300 caps and his fifth World Cup next competition, we wanted to honor her and all she brings to the sport of soccer. "

The 100 pairs of limited edition boots are designed and inspired by Lilly. personal touch including its motto, "always believe "and number 13 embroidered on the tongue.
